Who We Are — SGK Industries, Hyderabad's Food Machine Manufacturer Since 2017

Our Story

Every great business starts with a problem that needs solving. When SGK Industries was founded in 2017 in the industrial heart of Hyderabad, the problem was clear: India's millions of street food entrepreneurs, juice bar owners, and small food business operators were being underserved by the food equipment industry.

Large manufacturers catered to big restaurant chains and industrial food processors. Small vendors had to choose between cheap, unreliable machines that broke down constantly, or expensive equipment designed for a scale far beyond what a single stall or small shop needed.

Mr. Vemulapalli Ghoutham Kumar saw this gap and decided to fill it. Starting from a modest manufacturing setup in Jeedimetla's Industrial Development Area, SGK Industries began producing sugarcane juice machines built specifically for India's street-level food economy.

Today, SGK Industries operates from an established manufacturing facility at 111, Phase 5, IDA, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad, Telangana — 500055. We have supplied machines to over 1,000 satisfied business owners and continue to expand across India.

Our Journey

• 2017 — SGK Industries founded at Jeedimetla, Hyderabad. First batch of sugarcane juice machines manufactured and sold.
• 2018 — Expanded product range to include semi-automatic and automatic models. First orders from outside Hyderabad received.
• 2019 — Launched pani puri water machine. Established dealer network in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
• 2020 — Adapted machine configurations for enhanced hygiene. Received GST verified exporter status.
• 2021 — Introduced coconut vending cart range and softy ice cream machines. Reached 500+ customers.
• 2022 — Expanded shipping network to cover all major metropolitan cities across India.
• 2023 — Crossed 1,000+ customer milestone. Launched customization options for branded carts.
• 2024+ — Continuing to innovate, expand the product range, and serve India's growing street food entrepreneur community.

Mr. Vemulapalli Ghoutham Kumar — Founder & Director. With over 16 years of experience in the food equipment industry, Mr. Ghoutham Kumar brings deep technical knowledge and entrepreneurial vision to SGK Industries.

Our manufacturing team consists of skilled engineers and technicians specialised in food-grade machinery fabrication, stainless steel work, electrical systems, and quality assurance. Our customer support team is available Monday to Saturday to handle enquiries, deliveries, and after-sales service.

Our Facility

Our manufacturing facility includes metal fabrication and welding stations, food-grade stainless steel processing equipment, motor assembly and testing area, electrical and control systems installation bay, a quality control and testing area, and finished-goods storage and dispatch.
